 Debate.org

Debate.org, a free community for people who like to debate and read the opinions of other.  Debate.org is also a social networking platform for you and your friends.

This seems like a great site because it’s free and you can start a new topic about anything.  Then the debates are searchable and organized in categories.  Beyond that messages can be sent, plus a friends list similar to Facebook.

This seems effective to those who want to express their opinions and have an point to make.  This is a non offensive format, because those who respond are interested in the topic.

World of Warcraft, Wrath of the Lich King

Blizzard provides the World of Warcraft community forums or its players to chat, exchange ideas, and submit feedback.  Posting on the World of Warcraft community forums requires a World of Warcraft account.  Only customers are allowed to post on these forums, but anyone can read them.

World of Warcraft has a large following for online gaming.  It is a very specific audience, but so many different areas of discussion to post to.  If you don’t play the game you can’t participate, but read.  This will keep the level of discussion among the experienced player who are familiar with the game.

An open discussion for players is very efficient for those who want to excel at this game.  It remains very specific to the game and the areas within the game.

PetitionSpot

Express yourself and let your voice and the voice of others be heard. Gain support by spreading your message to gain the support of your family and peers. Make money with every signature you gain.

This seems interesting with the petition topics being mostly around TV shows.  I’m not sure how this is a money maker, but it is a voice of the people concept.

There are 60 thousand “signatures” in the most popular topic right now.  It seems like a very popular and quick way to agree with a statement.
